The Seattle Seahawks have brought former Miami Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland in as a draft consultant. It is said that this may lead to something more permanent with the team. Just like they did in 2011 when the Seahawks swooped in to scoop up Tom Cable after he was let go by the Oakland Raiders, it seems management is trying to add yet another good football mind to the team. Jeff Ireland is a former scout and should be able to contribute wisely to player assessments in developing their final big board. I see nothing but good coming from this.
