With the nuclear arms race that is the NFC west do you guys think we still have a shot at homefield for an NFC Championship game? Two teams jump out
I see them winning at least 4 division games, 3 AFC east games, 3 NFC South (I think the Panthers are much weaker than last year) and beat the Eagles If they surprise the Pats or win out the division they could have 12-13 wins possibly
UGH at home they will be favored by a TD against everyone save niners/packers. so 7-1 feels about right. Outside the division their road schedule is Pitt,Cleveland,Dallas,Det Chi. 5-3 is very doable with 6-2 very possible. I have a hard time seeing us getting to 13-3 with our schedule to tie them.
If the Eagles get on a roll they could secure homefield but I believe the Packers and Saints are better teams at this point.
I know we have made the moves we needed so far and love the makeup of the team but I would prefer to see all our playoff games in the comfy link and just have this bad feeling we will be looking up at one or both of these teams as we enter the lets play 5 division opponents and the Eagles to finish the season off. It just makes all the early games mean that much more so we can't blow them since we have such a pleasant end of the season schedule.
If I say sea you say.....
