The draft ------ Don't be surprised if

- No QBs are drafted in the 1st round. Although there are several talented QBs in the draft, I don't see one that I would want to give the ball to on day one and say "Go win us a Super Bowl son." Minnesota did a very smart thing signing Matt Cassel to a 2 year contract. They now can draft a QB at any time and let him learn behind a professional.

- Two or more RBs are drafted in the first round. Some teams are going to say to themselves "Seattle won a Super Bowl with good defense and a strong running game. I wonder if we can do that!"

- Miami does not draft an O lineman with their 1st or 2nd round picks. Some have them drafting O linemen with both picks, but Miami may just be happy with signing Branden Alberts, Shelly Smith and the returning tattered remains of last years O line They then add to it later in the draft. After all, they do have other needs as well.

- Cleveland trades pick #26 for extra picks. Ok, I know, they already have 10 picks in this years draft, but if they could pick up a 1st next year and let's say an early to mid 3rd this year, with the depth in this draft --- you never know.

- Houston doesn't draft a QB or Clowney with the first pick in the draft. I don't know, I just get the feeling they trade or surprise.

-Oakland does not implode and actually has a solid draft. Lord knows, they're due.

-San Fransisco does bundle a bunch of picks to move way up in the draft (they have 11), and not pick WR Sammy Watkins. They just might target a Greg Robinson or Jake Mathews. By playing to one of their strengths (O line), they get future flexibility cap wise.

- World Champion Seattle Seahawks stay put with all their picks and draft the top player on their board each round. They have no glaring needs and for the most part have gotten good talent value for pay out of their limited participation in Free Agency.
