I am a Seattle native and Hawk fan, and I just moved back to Seattle from Colorado, where I was getting my degree. I am moving to an apartment near the stadium, and I am coming to terms with the fact that I will be but a few blocks from the action every week once the season starts (a huge difference from illicitly watching Seahawk games on sketchy websites for the last 5 years - damned Bronco country).
I am thrilled to be so close to the games, but Seattle has changed a lot in the five years I have been gone. For those of you who either live in the area, or come to the stadium to support the Hawks/watch from bars, what is the best way to experience game day (other than getting tickets into the game)? I've heard that the marching band walks to the stadium before the game starts, and I've heard that the pyramid brewery is a good place to be for games...what about finding a good place to tailgate, etc?
I can't wait for the season to start!
