Russell Wilson has been with the Seattle Seahawks for over four years and I don’t know how many practices that has involved exactly but up until Wednesday, Wilson was a full participant in 100% of them. That streak is over. Wilson was listed as limited on Wednesday with pectoral/knee injuries, with the pec injury being a new thing we haven’t heard about until now.

The extent of the injury is not well known but the good news is that Wilson did participate on a limited basis. The bad news is that 10 players did not. But I wouldn’t overreact to any of this. Look at the Arizona Cardinals injury report:

The Cards and Seahawks played 75 minutes on Sunday and so they weren’t all ready to get back on the field on Wednesday. It’s understandable. Richard Sherman and Bobby Wagner were out for non-injury related reasons. Pete Carroll also said that Bradley Sowell isn’t ruled out for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, and he suffered the worst injury of all last week.
Friday’s injury report will be a lot more telling.
I doubt that Wilson will miss a game, but I’m definitely not qualified to tell you how he actually feels. I just assume he’ll be fine because he’s Russell Wilson and he’s always fine. I don’t think anyone should be freaking out about this, but that doesn’t mean I can stop anyone from freaking out about it.
