Seahawks Draft Review

Well Field Gulls community the 2016 NFL Draft is complete now let see how the Hawks did this year.

1st Round: Germain Ifedi, OT Texas A&M: A guy with great foot work but needs some development but I think Tom Cable can do a really good job at developing him.

2nd Round: Jarran Reed, DT Alabama: 1/3 of the 3 headed-monster attack Alabama had where they only gave up 78 rushing yards per game. More depth for the Defensive Line.

3rd Round: C.J. Prosise, RB Notre Dame: Still new to the Running Back position a former DB turned WR turned RB who I believe can compete for a roster spot in camp.

3rd Round: Nick Vannett, TE Ohio St.: An injury comcern having back surgery a few years back but a solid blocking TE with Luke Willson who can become a FA at season's end a pick for the future.

3rd Round: Rees Odhiambo, OG Boise St.: A reach here in the 3rd round what I though would be maybe a late day 3 pick they get him in the 3rd round complete reach. He's Athletic but needs a lot of development I watched the Boise St game against BYU he was aweful the entire game so I'm scratching my head with this one.

5th Round: Quinton Jefferson, DT Maryland: Another three-technique pass rusher they rotate along the defensive line.

5th Round: Alex Collins, RB Arkansas: Very physical between the tackles running back like Marshawn Lynch who would thrive in this offensive and could complement Thomas Rawls really well.

6th Round: Joey Hunt, C TCU: An undersized C but could compete for a roster spot in camp.

7th Round: Kenny Lawler, WR CAL: Very good value pick here in the 7th round very productive at Cal won't wow you after the catch but a solid value pick here.

7th Round: Zac Brooks, RB Clemson: Another head scratcher here very inexperienced had aspirations outside of football in interior design so I'm just like "HUH"

When it's all said and done another solid draft for Pete Carroll and John Schneider filled hole's on the Offensive Line and got some depth at other positions.

Grade B

Let me know what you guy's thought about the Seahwks draft and how you would grade the draft.
