Seattle Seahawks Blog - Hawk Blogger: Sean McGrath, The Most Important Seahawk You Don't Know
No offense to Seahawks rookie draft choice Luke Willson, who has received a lot of attention for his physical tools and success at rookie camp, but his name is not listed right after Zach Miller on the tight end depth chart. That honor belongs to the undrafted, unheralded second-year player out of Division II powerhouse Henderson State University. And McGrath is not satisfied with that.

It’s not such big news these days. In the past a player or two might hold out into camp. Not in the new CBA era, which is refreshing. Guys who haven’t proven anything in the league shouldn’t be battling over money. One of the major positives of the new system is the ability to get young draftees signed up quickly. Now it’s up to the 2013 class to help push this team onto another level.

That loss to Seattle last year at Carolina where he has a chance to win it in the final play of the game, he bounces the ball in the dirt and then he goes and sulks in front of the cameras after the end of the game, you go, 'Well, you've got nobody to blame but yourself, Cam. You've got a wide open receiver in the end zone. You could have won the game ...' That's on Cam Newton," Baldinger said.

Curious Fits: NFC West | The Sideline View
As for the Seahawks, the NFL's bad boys, they arguably got the biggest steal of the draft when they landed Alabama nose tackle Jesse Williams in the fifth round.
