Steve Gleason at Sasquatch with Mike McCready

+

In case you don't know Steve Gleason is the man on the left in the wheel chair. He is a former WSU football and baseball player and is mostly known for blocking a punt against the Atlanta Falcons in the Saints first contest at the Superdome after Katrina. Steve has been diagnosed with ALS and used a computer that utilizes a technology that allows his automated voice to be heard as he selects the words off of a screen with his eyes to address the crowd. The man who Gleason introduced playing the Guitar is Mike McCready of Pearl Jam. Everything about this video is from the Northwest. Enjoy.

Pay close attention to this video. Better that its noticed and addressed now rather than midseason.

Kam Chancellor playing QB in OTAs, completes pass to Richard Sherman

Kam getting those emergency reps in. Keeps it on the zone-read then connects with Richard Sherman. This is glorious.

Top 10 QBs 25 and under: Russell Wilson #5

21

So NFL.com has Wilson ranked at #5 in their best Quarterbacks under 25 list. Can't say I agree (at all), but these lists obviously don't mean anything. I look forward to watching Wilson prove his worth this upcoming season. Also, I'm assuming with Wilson at #5 they have Kaepernick, RG3, Luck, and Newton ahead of him. Which of these guys would you rather have than Wilson?

Coordinators Darrell Bevell & Dan Quinn on Seahawks' Rookie Mini-camp

+

"You kind of want to see what you have in your draft picks. You’d like to be able to see what their strengths and weaknesses are as much as you can in those three days," Bevell said. "Then you’re looking at a bunch of tryout guys out there and the free agents we’ve signed. Sometimes you flip them out, sometimes it’s, ‘Whoa, we really liked how that guy looked. We want to give him a chance.’ You want to be able to see that with all the guys we have coming in."
