Unlike the 49ers, when WE go to the NFC Championship, we actually bring home a trophy. Don't look now, San Fran, but your last championship is almost old enough to vote!

Cortez Kennedy made semi-finalist on the Hall of Fame list again, and I hope that he gets in this year - I think he deserves it, just wondering what you think... Kennedy earned eight Pro Bowl invitations during the 1990s, a total matched by a defensive lineman during that decade by only Reggie White (HOF) and Bruce Smith (HOF). Kennedy was selected the 1992 NFL Defensive Player of the Year on a team that won just two games. Only Kennedy, Reggie White (HOF) and Lawrence Taylor (HOF) won that award while playing on losing teams. Since sacks became an official NFL statistic in 1982, only Kennedy and former Dallas great Randy White (HOF) ended their careers with at least 150 starts, 50 sacks and eight Pro Bowl appearances (more than Reggie White or Bruce Smith). Randy White entered the Hall of Fame in 1994. Pro Bowls 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 1998 1999 Awards 1992 NFL Defensive Player of the Year (on a 2-14 team) After 1991 he was fighting double teams on almost every play as teams tried to neutralize him, but you can see the results above despite the constant double teams. They thing about Tez is that he was the consummate quiet professional, content to bring his lunch pail to work every day and then quietly go home to take care of his daughter (single dad) instead of seeking out the limelight - no flash, no press conferences, no publicity, just the recognition year after year from his peers and other coaches around the league as one of the most disruptive forces to ever play D-line. I think his quiet lifestyle is actually hurting his HOF chances -he never self promoted or demanded recognition so he doesn't have the name branding of a Michael Ervin or Deon Sanders. Your opinion?
I was in the waiting room at the doctor's office today, thumbing through an issue of Popular Science, when I came accross this picture of Michael Robinson delivering a face melting hit against the Saints. The article is about concussions, and does not talk about the Seahawks at all, but I loved the pic and wanted to share it.
Yowza.
Not that this play isn't burned into everyone's memory, but considering we're playing the Cowboys this week I find it enjoyable to watch it happen again and again and again and....
