The Seahawks' free agent linebacker was arrested on counts of third-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment.
Leroy Hill has been arrested on two counts - third-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment - following a domestic dispute took place on Tuesday afternoon. This is Hill's 4th arrest in the eight years he's been a Seahawk, one from another domestic violence situation and two others related to marijuana.
"Issaquah Police issued an update on Wednesday morning, saying officers responded to a call near Cougar Ridge Drive Northwest. According to police, a 26-year-old female resident of Issaquah - who identified Hill as her boyfriend, stated he assaulted her several times on Tuesday, and kept her at the residence against her will. She also stated Hill took her cell phone. She told officers she was able to leave when Hill used the bathroom. She was taken to Swedish Hospital in Issaquah, treated and released.
Hill was arrested on Tuesday and taken to Issaquah City Jail. He will be booked into King County Jail, according to police, on a count of third-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment."
Per Curtis Crabtree, "the assault would be a gross misdemeanor while the unlawful imprisonment would be a Class C felony charge in Washington state. The latter would carry a sentence of up to five years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000 if Hill is charged and convicted."
At this point, things don't look good for Hill returning to the team, though that was said last year as well following Hill's arrest for marijuana possession, in which the charges were later dropped.
