A History of the NFL in 95 Objects: Seattle Seahawks 12th Man Flag | The MMQB with Peter King
It has been unfurled below the Statue of Liberty and raised above the Space Needle. President Obama posed for photos while holding it up. In the months surrounding Seattle’s Super Bowl XLVIII win, the “12th Man Flag” has experienced a tour-de-force of sightseeing. Michael Robinson: Seahawks have to “keep close watch” on egos | ProFootballTalk
“My question for the Seahawks this year is … there’s a lot of young guys in that locker room with new money,” Robinson said on the Dave Dameshek Football Program. “When issues come up in the locker room, who is the veteran that settles it? . … Things come up, ‘Hey guys — stop doing that! Hey, you go over there, you go over there, and it’s over. No more.’ And guys would stop. Right now, guys have gotten paid, you know what I mean? Guys have got egos, you know what I mean? Since the new rookie wage scale was put in place three years ago, unsigned first-round draft picks aren't much of a concern, either.
