A 49ers Fan Raised the 12th Man Flag Yesterday

Gary Payton has done some good things for Seattle, and he intends to do more. I also personally like him.

However, he should NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO RAISE THE 12th MAN FLAG BEFORE THE GAME YESTERDAY.

Why? During one of those abominable "who-cares-whats-going-on-in-the-game" interviews, he clearly proclaimed that he is a 49ers fan.

Yes, a 49ers FAN.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but the raising of the 12th man flag has become an important and symbolic little ritual with significant meaning to true fans. The number is dedicated to us who bleed blue and scream red. It is a symbol of appreciation and loyalty.

Gary Payton, however, is not a member of the 12th man. He is a man of great import to the Seattle community, but not a loyal Seahawks fan.

How many of you would have given your left nut to raise that flag yesterday? And they let a niner fan do it! This is just wrong.

Thoughts?

Someone pulled a prank on Brad Johnson

This was taken from tonight's Card-Boys matchup. Brad Johnson comes on to the field as the holder for the game tying field goal. Anything look peculiar?

It looks like someone took a sharpie to his green radio helmet ID sticker, and made it look like a yard sale price tag.

Brad Johnson's helmet for $1.00?

How about $.75 and you throw in this shitty lamp with it?
