I especially enjoy http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/lax/483318927.html because it sort of reminds me of me, cept I'm not fat bald or poor.
Anyways, there are lots of good ones.

Who MLB would like to see win?
I saw an article recently about players being asked who they would like to see win a championship (that hasn't already done so) and the KG got first with 6 (seems kind of low) and Nash was 2nd with 5.
I wonder what the results would be for baseball. I don't think Ichiro would be very high, since players are more in awe of him, not buddy buddy (well opposing players perhaps). You think A-Rod would be high on the list?

Off Topic: Huskies
This is a bit off topic, but the Washington Huskies site, U-dub Dish, is currently out of order because the authors quit or something. If anyone who can write and/or follows the Husky closely can volunteer to write for the site, that'd be great. I'd offer to do it myself, but I dont get the games, and I dont follow Huskies football well enough to honestly consider myself for the site, maybe Seahawks, Mariners, Sonics, or UDub basketball (though when I see what Morgan Jeff, DMZ, and Dave Cameron write, I think, damn I'm way over my head in the world of sports blogging). Anyways, just thought I'd put it out there.
Oh yeah, go Huskies 2-0! with Ohio State, UCLA, and USC to go.

Best SS 3b Combo?
I have ARod and Hanley on my fantasy team, and I was thinking, damn that's a good combo, but then I thought, hm.. they have good counterparts on their teams as well, New York debated last year on who has the best SS and 3b combo, but with Hanley lighting it up, maybe Florida's is the best. Which combo would you rather have? (I was tempted to put Yuni and Beltre or Beltre and Triunfel in, but I have a feeling that would win).
(Sorry if this diary sucks, I'm sorta bored at work).

Graduation Baseball Trip
So I'm graduating in May from college in St. Louis. Anyways, 5 friends and I are making a baseball trip to experience some of the stadiums in the midwest. We're driving from St. Louis to Minnesota to watch the Twins, then we're going to Milwaukee to watch the Brewers, then off to Chicago to watch the Cubs and White Sox (2 games of one, can't remember which), then to Cleveland and Cincinnati for the Indians and Reds, and then back to St. Louis for the Cardinals. It ends on June 9th, and I wanted to go to Pittsburgh, Toronto, Detroit, and Kansas City too, but my friends weren't up for it.
Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions on things I should do? Someone suggest that on the way up to Minnesota, we stop by the Field of Dreams in Iowa. Is that worth it?
Any foods I should eat or things I should do at the stadiums? Also, should we buy the tickets now, or do you think we can just buy them at the stadium? Oh yeah, I plan on buying a t-shirt at every stop of a player and my list right now is: Mauer, Sheets, DLee, Iguchi, Hafner/Sizemore, Griffey, Pujols.
Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Lance Briggs rumor
I know this is a pretty weak rumor, but on the SeattlePI site, it said that Seattle was one of three teams interested in Briggs.

Personally I say that with Peterson, Hill isn't as good, so we should trade Hill and something 3rd round pick and 2nd round next year for Briggs, and sign Briggs. I think we already have one of the best linebacking trios in the league, but this could be one of the best all-time if they stuck together for a while. Of course I'm not paying attention to the financial situation, I'm not sure how much cap room we have.

Baseball video games
So I recently got MLB 07 the show on Ps2 and it's pretty good. Here's what I did, I made Lowe and Felix better and made Lowe a starter (I know, he's not going to pitch, but whatever, if he were healthy and a starter, he'd be awesome). I traded away guillen, washburn, batista, reitsma, vidro, and some mediocre guy, petagine maybe, for Lastings Milledge and Ryan Garko.
Anyways I played the first game on rookie, and won 16 or so to 1. I know, rookie is too easy, but I hadn't played video game baseball in a while. The biggest story is that I hit 1 hr with Sexson, 1 with Beltre, and Johjima went 7 for 7 with 5 hrs and 9 rbis (first four hits were hrs).
Anyone else have good stories about video game baseball?

LaRoche for Gonzalez
So I guess this trade finally went through. Weird how it took forever, wasn't this supposed to go through a month ago? Soriano is probably equal to Gonzalez, so that means we could have gotten LaRoche. Oh well.

Bloomquist appreciation thread
I always thought Bloomquist was a great player until I came to sites like this and USSMariner. I alwasy though of him as a poor man's Ryan Freel, Chone Figgins, Mark Derosa, or Michael Cuddeyer, who are all pretty good players I think. Its weird because I would think he would be a fan favorite, not someone who is made fun of all the time. Despite people making fun of what announcers' call grittiness, that word is a good way to describe him. He can play every position except catcher (I believe he said he would be willing to try out catcher as an emergency backup catcher last spring training) and he can play them all adequatley. Sure he's not a great backup, but he allows us to have lefty righty combos like Benuardo (who by the way suck and should be bashed more). If Lopez has to go back home during the season, I feel comfortable letting Willie man the helm at second for a few days, and if Beltre has soreness in his groin, I feel comfortable letting Willie spell him for a few innings a game for a week or so. He's also a pretty good baserunner, and while thats not too important, it's a plus.
Back to the gritty part, he plays hard, and he plays his heart out. He seems to be extremely loyal to the team, and is also a team first type of guy. Willie should be a fan favorite because he doesn't seem to have much more talent then the average fan. He's just a guy getting by on what he has, but willing to do whatever for the team he loves.
There will probably be a lot of posts pointing out how much he sucks, but whatever, every team needs a guy like Willie, and I'm glad we have him until at least 2008. Hopefully he's a Mariner for like like Dan Wilson, Jamie Moyer (excluding the beginning of his career because it never happened and the end because that's not happening right now), Edgar, and Buhner.
