Groins Are Expensive for Stevens, Raiders' Brayton

As Christian points out in his diary, ESPN has reported Raider defensive lineman Tyler Brayton and Jerramy Stevens have been fined for their altercation on Monday night. Neither was suspended.

Brayton, the report says, was guilty of "kneeing Stevens in the groin." The NFL also deemed Stevens guilty of an attempt to "kick Brayton in the groin" on the same play.

Brayton, who was ejected from the game, will have to unzip his wallet for a $25,000 penalty for his actions; Stevens pulled down a $15,000 fine. Neither was suspended.

What does this teach our kids? That sportsmanship is still a must in all game situations, and that groin jokes never, ever get old.
