Sex & Drugs & NFL

Two items, not specifically Hawks-related, posted for the sake of quick one-liners:

  • The NFL has added amphetamines and methamphetamines to their list of banned performance-enhancing substances, beginning with the 2007 season.

The Oakland Raiders have not announced how they plan to make up for the loss of sales revenue.

  • Former defensive tackle Esera Tuaolo, who is openly gay, spoke about diversity at an NFL rookie symposium over the weekend. All accounts say the audience was moved by Tuaolo's experience as a gay man in the world of professional sports.

Scheduled panelist Jay Mariotti could not make the symposium because he and Larry had to go shopping for new drapes for the breakfast nook.
