Seahawks Roster Moves and FG Announcement

New, comments

From Frank Hughes of the Tacoma News Tribune.

The Seahawks, as expected, placed RB Alvin Pearman on injured reserve.

They also signed CB Kevin Hobbs from practice squad to active roster.

They released LB Cameron Jensen from practice squad and signed Long snapper Jared Retkofsky and T Kyle Williams to practice squad.

Hobbs comes up to probably help out in the return game and sure up the depth at CB with Wilson out for a couple weeks. By not calling up Weeks it probably shows that Holmgren is finally getting comfortable with having Weaver in the backfield.

As for the long snapping situation, Rackley has been bad and Holmgren has said that both blocked punts this year have been because of bad snaps. So this move shouldn't surprise anyone.

Now for the FG announcement. If you haven't noticed I have actually been given author controls for the site. What does this mean? I'm not really sure and I'll let John spell that out for ya. I know one thing. I will have to start proof reading :)

PS - Somewhere Coach Owens is weeping about this news. Just kidding Coach I'll be nice.
