It made sense to go fifteen deep at offensive line, it was combining two positions (tackle and guard) with similar physical needs. It doesn't make sense to list fifteen defensive ends and tackles. Ends need quickness and agility to slip the offensive tackle, defensive tackles need "burst" to blow up the guards. Ends need moves, tackles need power. Now, each needs the other abilities, too, but not equally. So instead of making a big cumulative top fifteen, I, instead, present five players of interest at each position. Not the best, but talented players who can be expected to exceed their draft position. For the tackles I've picked single gap defenders who can be attained the in second round or later. Defensive ends are third round or later. At the top of each is the player who sets the standard for the position in this year's draft. Projected 5 yard speed is my attempt at predicting a player's speed after running 5 yards based on their forty times.
