According to Seahawks.Net (link may not work 'cause it's a subscription), D.J. Hackett's agent Tom Mills told Sirius Radio this morning that the wide receiver, a restricted free agent this year, will most likely "play out the season and entertain offers from other teams when free agency begins next March (though he sees the Seahawks as a viable future choice)."
With Darrell Jackson out of the receiving corps and Nate Burleson probably emphasizing as the Seahawks' kick returner, Hackett figures to line up at the split opposite Branch in 2007 thanks to a near-breakout season last year. Should he get more looks in more-than-situational, um, situations this season, he'll have suitors.
In other news, Morgan did not write this!
