The Hawks have locked up Jordan Babineaux, 25, to a 3 year contract potentially worth $15 mil. Frank Hughes over at Seahawks Insider is reporting the actual value of the contract is between 10 and 17 million. Babs is valuable for his versatility, and is a central piece to building the Hawks' secondary wide rather than tall (that is with a lot of depth rather than front-loaded with superstars). Babineaux is a tough tackler and savvy in zones, but could never cut it in regular man coverage. Overall, I fully approve of this signing. Another valuable player signed to another cap friendly contract.
Practical.
