As a follow up to yesterday's discussion on injuries with respect to an extended season, undrafted free agent Tyler Roehl tore the ACL in his left knee.
"I just planted my foot, my foot stayed and the rest of my body didn’t," he said. "I knew something was wrong right away."
That ends Roehl's season, although he now has the privilege of remaining with the Seahawks during his recovery. Roehl is a hybrid fullback/runningback and would have been interesting, if only on paper, after having run for 2,500 yards and 34 tds in his last two seasons combined. Either way, Roehl will spend the year recovering and rehabbing instead of working on the practice squad or just plain looking for work.
