Lofa Tatupu subs out and Frank Gore storms up the middle for 79 and a touchdown. Tatupu, for all his awareness and ability against the run, was not what allowed that run. The interior run defense is crippled without Brandon Mebane and it's becoming more obvious by the snap. The Red Bryant/Colin Cole double over-tackle formation Seattle flashed in the preseason -- that's the formation the 49ers victimized for the touchdown.
