Re-Live Glory Monday: The 1987 Seahawks

I have to admit that I'm not super knowledgeable about the teams of yesteryear so I thought I'd start including a trip down memory lane now and again so we have a better appreciation of where we came from. The 1987 season was lockout shortened to 15 games so it's actually something topical to talk about considering the circumstances we're facing right now. Check out the video after the jump for a great look at the season brought to us by the inimitable NFL Films; sorry in advance that you have to watch a commercial or three (it's a Hulu video) but it's a 21 minute video of awesomeness. I especially love the "FORT KNOX" foam-dome that Dave Krieg is sporting in one of the interviews.

UPDATE: for a great look at the 1987 Seahawks' season, check out Johnny Peel's homage to, by his reckoning, the 9th best team in Seahawks history, on his blog Dave Kreig's Strike Beard. (If I'm not mistaken, you can actually get a glimpse of said beard in the video below).

Without further ado, take it away Berman...
