Adam Schefter lets us know by way of twitter that LG Robert Gallery is joining the Seahawks on a 3-year deal. Financial terms still to be revealed, but it's good that it's a fairly short contract.
This is a great move for us, filling an enormous need where we did not have any starter. It's also really expected, with the obvious Cable-Gallery connection. Gallery's veteran presence should be a huge help for our young line, but don't expect top-end play for him. He's a solid guard, but much better at run-blocking than pass-blocking.
