Gull Poll: Who has the best nickname in the NFL?

Al Messerschmidt

This week, Field Gulls' sponsor Gillette is running a poll at their facebook page that asks which NFL player has the best nickname. Which got me thinking - which NFL player has the best nickname?

Now, I wanted to just list off a few, but I must admit that I don't have a great catalog of names in my mind. Thank god for Wikipedia.

Here are a few of my favorites:

"The Face Cleaver" for Leonard Weaver (never heard that, but it's awesome)

"The Law Firm" for Ben-Jarvus Green-Ellis. This is just funny to me, for some reason.

"Dump Truck" for Nejah Davenport (Background FYI).

"He Hate Me" for Rod Smart (remember that guy?).

"Run DMC" for Darren McFadden.

And, obviously, "Sweetness" for Walter Payton.

Now, there are a few Seahawks players that make an appearance on the Wikipedia NFL Nicknames list, including the most obvious one, "Beastmode." Duh. Also on there are Kam "Bam Bam" Chancellor, and his "Legion of Boom".

Not included on the list, but among my other favorites are "ET" for Earl Thomas, "The Big Russian" Breno Giacomini, Matt "Antonio" Flynn, Leroy "Don't call me LEEROY" Hill.

My personal, all time favorite nickname is Brandon "Banger" Mebane.

I'm sure there are more out there that might be my favorite, so please list them below.

Can be either current or former Seahawks, or any NFL players, current or former. Or your nickname if you want. Share, won't you?
