The running backs, quarterbacks, and wide receivers ran and worked out yesterday and there were some nice surprises and little disappointments. We'll get into the players that surprised in the coming days and weeks more in-depth but right off the bat Chris Polk's 4.57 official 40 time has got to be a little disappointing. Not sure if this will actually cause him to fall a little bit but I still really wouldn't have much hesitation in grabbing the former Husky in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. I saw Davis saying this on Twitter yesterday too, but those 2nd-4th rounds for running backs and wide receivers are going to be very interesting. There's some talent this year at those positions outside the first round so I could definitely see the Seahawks looking there for either or both of those groups.
With a tip of the cap to Rob Staton for pointing it out, here's an excellent Scouting Combine Player Database that you can view to track results and watch prospect videos with. I'll have some more on what the WRs, RBs and QBs did on Sunday soon and point out a few players that might be of interest. But for now, talk about the defensive linemen and linebackers...
