NFL Draft Order Official: With No Compensatory Picks, Seahawks Shorthanded

The NFL Draft's official order was released earlier today and as we had suspected, the Seahawks hold six picks. This has got to be a major bummer for John Schneider.

Here are the official picks the Seahawks have been allotted:

1st Round: Pick #12, 12th overall

2nd Round: Pick #11, 43rd overall

3rd Round: Pick #12, 75th overall

4th Round: Pick #11, 106th overall

6th Round: Pick #11, 181st overall

7th Round: Pick #18, 225th overall

************

Seattle lost its 5th round pick to Buffalo in the trade for Marshawn Lynch, and their 7th round pick to Detroit in the trade for Tyler Polumbus. They added Oakland's 7th round choice in their trade of Aaron Curry. With six picks this year, only two teams, as it sits right now, have fewer - the Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints, both with five picks each.

Cleveland holds 13 picks - two in the 1st, one in the 2nd and 3rd, each, then two in the 4th, 5th, and 6th rounds, respectively. Then, the have three in the 7th round. Holmy gonna have a field day. I'm actually looking forward to seeing what they do with their stockpile of picks.
