Seahawks 12th Man preview podcast with Jason Puckett & Scott Enyeart

Joe Nicholson-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Every Thursday during the football season, Scott Enyeart and I team up with SportsRadioKJR's Jason Puckett to reflect on the previous week's matchup and to put together a preview of the upcoming game. This week's podcast was more a review than a preview, but bear with us.

We briefly talk about the Golden Tate catch/no-catch but tried not to dwell on the situation too much. We talked about the possibility of this Seahawks' defense becoming 'elite' last week and we hit on it again today, and I admitted that the performance against Green Bay validated some of the talk of the 'elite' label being thrown around. I'm not quite ready to call this defense elite, but I'll say they definitely made a statement.

We hit on the offensive line situation; the platoon system with John Moffitt and J.R. Sweezy and the imminent return of James Carpenter and what that means for Paul McQuistan. We talked about Russell Wilson, his footwork and his poise in the pocket, and the relationship between the struggling offense and Seattle's receiver corps. We talked about Marshawn Lynch's workload.

We talked about a lot. You should listen.
