Report: Matt Flynn trade appears 'imminent'

Jennifer Hilderbrand-US PRESSWIRE

UPDATE 1:41pm PST: Per Albert Breer, "The Seahawks and Raiders have in fact agreed to draft-pick compensation on a tentative trade to send Matt Flynn to Oakland. Deal's close."

------------

Per ESPN's Ed Werder, a deal that will send Matt Flynn to a new team 'appears imminent'.

Over the past two days, we've speculated on reports that Oakland, Jacksonville, and even the Bills could be possible trade partners for the Seahawks' backup QB, and while the suitor remains unknown, as time goes on it's looking more and more likely that a trade will indeed happen one way or another.

Yesterday, the a report surfaced that the Jaguars were 'out' of the running. Now, according to Ian Rapoport, it's not the Bills (or Cardinals, who hadn't been mentioned) either. That leaves the Raiders, or a not-yet-named mystery team.
