These dates have been public for a little while but in case you missed them:
For the Seahawks, the first day of the offseason program will be next Monday, April 15. The team will conduct OTA workouts from May 20th - 21st and May 23rd, then May 28th-29th and May 31st, and finish June 3rd-6th. Seattle's only mandatory minicamp runs June 11th -13th.
In other news:
Super Regional Combine, Cowboys Stadium, Dallas, Texas:
This Super Regional, currently in process, consists of the elite players from all the individual regionals that have taken place over the past few weeks/months. According to Gil Brandt, 219 prospects are involved, and are players with no college eligibility left, some former NFL players and some aspiring NFL players who weren't invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. 21 year old DT prospect Lawrence Okoye, an Olympic discus thrower, is one of the big ticket names making the rounds there yesterday, but there are unquestionably other guys to monitor.
Here is a full roster, and as Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting points out, OT Wayne Whiting, RB Treavor Scales, RB/WR Sam McGuffie, LB Brandon Copeland, DTs Jose Jose, Stefan Charles, Zach Minter, DE Xavier Proctor, S Jordan Dangerfield, QBs Alex Carder, Tim Jenkins, John Laub, & Derek Carr; and WRs Jheraine Boyd, Duron Carter, Chris Denton are names to watch for.
Seattle has a workout with DT Stefan Charles set up, so it will be interesting to see his numbers as they come out. Sam McGuffie is an interesting prospect as well.
