Are we jerks?

A thought occurred to me recently while I was at the hawks and bucs game. I was walking out trying to calm my heart from yet another nail biter. I had been wrestling with the thought of the rams and bucs and texans and panthers playing a team with our talent level so close. I do believe whole heartedly that the Seahawks are the most talented team in the NFL. They just have not been showing it. Now I could be like some fans and blame it on our injuries or bad calls or 10am starts or simply fold my arms and stick out my lip and pout like a 2 year old. Instead, I decided to think on it. Our most impressive game thus far was the SF game. I could write a novel on my hatred for the 49ers but that's for another day. I thought about it for a sec. How can we decimate the 49ers so badly yet nearly lose on our own field to the bucs who are winless. While I was pondering I had a mental imagine of the bucs simply being better than the 49ers and how funny that would be, then It hit me. What if? The Seahawks, Russell Wilson, Pete Caroll, and our super high class, nice guy persona was just a facad. What if in a passive aggressive way we are just trolling teams for fun.

Bear with me on this, how bad does it look to the 49ers that every team we have played has scored more on us then them? Even the jags! What if there is a covert mission here to completely delegitimize Harbaugh and the 49ers by allowing other teams to play us better? And in doing so we are trolling those teams by dangling a victory over there heads and then ripping it away leaving them to burst into tears likes child who got nothing for Christmas. I think there is a strong possibility here that the Seahawks are some of the meanest bullies on the playground, that we delight in not just beating a team but emotionally devastating them all while hiding behind a guise of class and respect for their peers on other teams. I once heard on the real rob report by Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas that Russell Wilson isn't nearly as humble as he is perceived. Also by Russell's own admission he used to be a bully as a kid. Now this may seem blasphemy to some of you but I'm an asshole and the idea of breaking a team emotionally so they can't function after the fact is right up my alley so I choose to believe that we are in fact jerks and will continue to be, now it's time to promise Atlanta we won't wedgie them infront of the whole school and when they turn their backs in relief rip their underwear over their heads Infront of the girl they like causing them to lose bladder control. Go Hawks!
