Seattle wraps up its road schedule at the Giants with its fifth 10 a.m. kickoff start this season. Seattle is 3‐1 in those games this year. Among the scenarios this week are that with a Seattle win and a loss by the 49ers, Seattle clinches the NFC West and a first‐round bye. A Seattle win coupled by losses by the 49ers and Saints, Seattle will earn the 1‐seed. Seattle has an opportunity to clinch its eighth division title in club history and second in Pete Carroll's four seasons. It has already clinched its eighth playoff berth since 2002 and third under Carroll with Week 13's win.

The Seahawks are 11‐2 for the second time in club history and have won 18 of their last 21 games.
