It's like my mom always used to say, "Plan ahead." No wait, my dad said that. My mom always used to say, "Kenneth Arthur, quit locking this door. I know what you're doing in there!"
The Seahawks will plan ahead tonight by carefully having the 2013 NFL schedule released by the NFL tonight to see what their schedule is like for 2013. The truth is that we know a lot of facts about the schedule right now, we just don't know the order.
Facts:
- Seattle plays four preseason games and sixteen regular season games
- Preseason:
Aug 8-12 - @ Chargers
Aug 15-19 - Broncos
Aug 23, 5 PM, CBS - @ Packers
Aug 29-30 - Raiders
- September 8th is likely the date of the first Seahawks game, unless it's on Monday night. Or we will have to listen to that Godawful Faith Hill song on Sunday night but it's not crazy to think that it would happen.
- That will be followed up by the Seahawks playing three postseason games and a parade.
- They play the Cardinals twice, the Rams twice, and the 49ers twice. They could very well play the 49ers three times.
- The go on the road to face the Falcons, Panthers, Giants, Texans, and Colts.
- The stay at home to play the Saints, Buccaneers, Vikings, Jaguars, and Titans.
Again:
Home
49ers
Cardinals
Rams
Saints
Buccaneers
Vikings
Jaguars
Titans
Road
49ers
Cardinals
Rams
Falcons
Panthers
Giants
Texans
Colts
Seattle is slated to win anywhere from 16 to 16 regular season games. We will find out the order in which those wins happen at 5 PM PST tonight and you can come on back now ya hear to Field Gulls to discuss it because the offseason is just teeming with information we apparently need! Next week is the draft! Holy shit!
What are you thoughts? Most looking forward to? Game that worries you the most? Road games worth taking a trip to?
