Pete Carroll Q&A session via Win Forever

New, comments

Pete Carroll answered some fan questions for the Win Forever blog over the past few days, and while some of them were light-hearted, I found a couple of others to be pretty interesting. First off, Pete talked about how famed head coach Bud Grant is his all-time coaching role model - something I didn't realize. I had always thought Pete modeled himself after Bill Walsh (instead, Pete says that he models his leadership style after Walsh), but apparently Grant's demeanor and coaching style really stuck with Carroll. Interesting.

Also of interest, for me anyway, was Carroll's choice for 2013 Seahawks' breakout player: Russell Wilson. Scary/Awesome thought.

I also found the comments on new Seahawks' DC Dan Quinn to be pretty interesting.
