NFL franchises must cut their rosters down to 53 players today by 3pm PST.
Simultaneously with the cut-down to 53, clubs that have players in the categories of Active/Physically Unable to Perform or Active/Non-Football Injury or Illness must select one of the following options: place player on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform or Reserve/Non- Football Injury or Illness, whichever is applicable; request waivers; terminate contract; trade contract; or continue to count the player on the Active List.
Jared Stanger will be posting the Seahawks' final-53 here at Field Gulls once the team announces it, but as clubs cut down today around the NFL, talk about any surprises or interesting decisions league-wide.
Reported Seahawks cuts thus far:
FB Michael Robinson
CB Antoine Winfield
DT Sealver Siliga
DT Jaye Howard
QB Brady Quinn
Bad day for Notre Dame QBs. The last 24 hrs: Carolina cut Jimmy Clausen, Seattle cut Brady Quinn & Baltimore cut Dayne Crist.

Other reports also pointing out that long-shot running back Derrick Coleman will make the team.
The Seahawks only recently acquired Siliga from the Broncos in exchange for John Moffitt. Howard was a fourth round pick a year ago, making all the reported cuts so far somewhat surprising.
