The Seahawks have signed tight end Rashaun Allen to their active roster from the practice squad, placing defensive end Cassius Marsh to the injured reserve with a broken foot. The Hawks also had an open roster spot with the Percy Harvin trade, and signed DB Steven Terrell back to the active roster (he played vs. Dallas, was waived, then signed to the practice squad this week).
The Allen move comes as a depth addition with Zach Miller officially out this weekend and backup Luke Willson listed as questionable with a groin injury. The loss of Marsh, who had been a depth player and member of the defensive line rotation, means likely that Greg Scruggs take his spot in the rotation this week and going forward. Scruggs will likely factor into the gameplan especially this week pretty prominently, with Jordan Hill listed as out as well.
