Would the Seahawks head back to the AFC West with a Chargers, Raiders move to L.A.?

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, "the current plan" for the NFL is to "send one or two teams back to Los Angeles within the next 12 to 24 months."

I haven't been following this story too closely because it feels like this has been the "plan" for about ten years, but if this has legs it has the potential to be a major development, not only for the NFL, but for the Seahawks (stress: MAYBE). Here's how: Right now, the three teams deemed most likely and most interested to move back to Los Angeles are the Raiders, Chargers, and Rams, all three of which formerly played in L.A. If the NFL manages to get both the Chargers and Raiders to move to L.A., the thought is that the league would not want two teams from the same city to be in the same division.

According to Jason Cole, Raiders owner Mark Davis has said that he'd be open to moving to the NFC, which would mean, the NFC West.

So, that would mean the NFC West would need to swap a team into the AFC West, and the Seahawks would be a logical choice for that considering Seattle got their start in the AFC West of yesteryear. Here's Cole talking about the possibility, which is, to be clear again, just speculation at this point. It's interesting though.

So, what do you think? If a series of events were to go down that meant the Seahawks could potentially move back into the AFC West, along with former rivals in the Broncos, Chiefs, and Chargers, would you be excited? Disappointed? Vote below. I never do polls, but this one seems fun.
