First Look: San Francisco 49ers | Seahawks Blog | Seattle Times
Key players: QB Colin Kaepernick: The fourth-year quarterback remains one of the NFL’ nost intriguing, if erratic, talents. After throwing three interception in a week two home loss to the Bears, he has thrown just three since. In fact, he had a streak of 131 passes without an interception snapped in Sunday’s win over Washington. He also has thrown a touchdown in 18 straight games. He’s picking his spots more with his running this year, with 336 yards but no more than 24 in any of the last five games.

Press release from USAA, the Official Military Appreciation Sponsor of the NFL and the Seahawks.:
Dan Quinn is the Seattle Seahawks nominee for the Salute to Service award, presented by USAA, the Official Military Appreciation Sponsor of the NFL. Quinn was nominated by the Seahawks for his military appreciation efforts. I have included some information on Quinn's work with the military below, in addition to some information about the award as well.
Dan Quinn's Work with the Military
In 2005, Coach Dan Quinn and his wife Stacey launched the "Quinn's Corps Foundation." The foundation was created around the idea of a corps, a body of people associated under common direction. Together Quinn's Corps is about helping Military families. In 2010, Quinn's Corps expanded to support the Warrior Transition Battalion at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. During the Seahawks season, Quinn's Corps host six Military guests to a unique game day experience which includes pregame field passes, tickets, parking and food/beverages. In addition, Quinn's Corps is a financial supporter of the Fisher House, a network of comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. Coach Quinn is always one of the first to greet soldiers who attend Seahawks practices.
Background on the Salute to Service Award presented by USAA
Finalists for the Salute to Service Award presented by USAA will be announced in January, and the winner will be recognized at the "4th Annual NFL Honors" awards show in Arizona on NBC on Saturday, Jan. 31, the night before Super Bowl XLIX. Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was last year's award winner. USAA, a leading provider of insurance and other services to U.S. military members, veterans and their families, contributed $25,000 in his honor to the official aid societies representing all five military branches. Harbaugh will serve on the award panel and vote for this year's winner. Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman was the 2012 winner, and the inaugural winner in 2011 was Tennessee Titans late owner K.S. "Bud" Adams, a World War II veteran.
