Prospects to Watch

Military Bowl

Cincinnati Virginia Tech

  • Eric Lefeld, OT, 6'6" #310 -- defensive line convert in 2011; first team all-Big East in 2012, first team all-AAC in 2013

  • Kyshoen Jarrett, S, 5'10" #198 -- He plays all over the field, more in line with Seattle's Earl Thomas than former Hokies star Kam Chancellor.
  • Detrick Bonner, S, 6'0" #194 -- A very experienced player who has played all over the Hokies defense, including LB and CB. His freakish athleticism shows up in versatility more than dominance.

Sun Bowl

Arizona State Duke

  • Jaelen Strong, WR, 6'3" #215 -- Widely perceived to be a first round prospect
  • Damarious Randle, FS, 5'11" #190 -- Former JUCO baseball player is considered a mid-round prospect but could play his way up draft boards.
  • Jamil Douglas, OG, 6'4" #300 -- Very experienced and athletic interior player

  • Laken Tomlinson, OG, #6'4" #320 -- Big junior guard was pre-season all-ACC.

Independence Bowl

University of Miami University of South Carolina

  • Clive Walford, TE, 6'4 #258 -- The SR tight end won't play, but could be the top TE on many draft boards.
  • Ereck Flowers, OT, 6'5" #324 -- The JR tackle isn't a lock to declare, but McShay has him going 12th overall in a recent mock.
  • Duke Johnson, RB, 5'9" #205 -- Probably not ideal size for Seattle's taste, but if he slides I bet Seattle likes him. I like him more than many because of his versatility.

  • A.J. Cann, OG, 6'3" #311 -- Cann is the top guard on many boards; big, nasty, and athletic.
  • Mike Davis, RB, 5'9" #223 -- He is ideal size for Seattle, and could be there on day 2 or even 3. He suffered a bit in Spurrier's RB-by-committee system, but hasn't been overused. He's experienced in the passing game as a blocker and receiver. The only major concern is his fumbling.
  • J.T. Surratt, DT, 6'2" #310 -- He is a quality rotational DT forced to play too many snaps on a bad defense. Often makes spectacular plays in the first halves of games, but wears down over time.

Pinstripe Bowl

Boston College Penn State University

  • Andy Gallick, C, 6'2" #299 -- Athletic center
  • Ian Silberman, OT, 6'5" #293 -- One of the Florida transfers that ran BC's ZBS that is similar to Seattle's.

  • Amos Adrian, S, 6'0 #209 -- Has played both safety and corner for Penn State.
