The Seahawks have re-signed RB Demitrius Bronson, who was released on Monday, after Christine Michael pulled up in practice with a slight tweak to his hamstring. Pete Carroll said that because they're planning on resting Michael for the game tomorrow they want to have enough guys that are ready to play.

Carroll praised Bronson's play during camp and the preseason, but noted he just got caught up in the numbers game at the position. He's back for the time being, and let's hope that Michael's injury doesn't keep him out for too long. Greg Van Roten was released to open up a spot for Bronson.

In other injury updates, punt and kick returner Bryan Walters will be back in action this week after sitting out against the Bears with sore ribs. He'll look to catch on as the sixth receiver and return specialist for the Hawks.

DT Tony McDaniel has sore knee, so he's seen some rest this week, and Jeremy Lane has a sore groin that has kept him from practicing.

Pete Carroll mentioned that LB Bruce Irvin and WR Kevin Norwood have a shot at coming back to practice this next week, and Tight end Cooper Helfet, who injured his knee and neck last week, is still day-to-day. Jimmy Staten, who has missed nearly training camp and preseason period, returned to practice yesterday.

Percy Harvin has missed the last two days of practice while he deals with a personal matter.
