Here's what Pete Carroll had to say this morning on the Brock and Salk Show:
A few notables:
-- Carroll made it sound like Max Unger is doing well. Didn't give a confirmation that Unger will play but apparently Unger was relieved that it wasn't the same type of injury, nor an aggravation of the injury that kept him out for six weeks this year.
-- Byron Maxwell had chest stuff, pneumonia type symptoms and couldn't play more than a play or two at a time because he couldn't catch his breath. Carroll said it was surprising that Maxy couldn't go on Saturday because he'd practiced with the team on Thursday, but it just cropped up on gameday. Carroll didn't know if Maxwell will be available this week.
-- Carroll said that Marshawn Lynch got sick again during this game and sat out a little while in the second half. He made it a point to bring up the fact that Mike Salk had been speculating that the Seahawks had suspended Lynch when he sat out the first quarter Week 16 vs. the Cardinals. Carroll said that was not true at all, noting that Lynch just has a history with stomach issues.
