The Seahawks and Patriots entered the season as favorites for the Super Bowl in their respective conferences on a lot of prediction posts. Despite the long, circuitous roads both teams have taken to get here, those predictions have become a reality. Seattle will face off against Tom "U Mad Bro" Brady and the New England Patriots, and we won't lack for (annoying/cool) storylines.
Bill Belichick vs Pete Carroll. Pete Carroll vs. the team that fired him back in the day. Richard Sherman vs. Tom Brady. Richard Sherman and Darrelle Revis. Brandon Browner vs. his old Legion of Boom. Russell Wilson and the new-school of quarterback vs. Tom Terrific and the old guard prototype. You name it, I'm sure we'll see it.
Regardless, the Seahawks have become the first team since the 2004 Patriots to make it back to the Super Bowl the year after winning it all, and they'll look to become the first team since those 2004 Patriots to win it in back to back years.
