You may have noticed that Doug Baldwin is balling out right now. He's putting together a Pro Bowl year and over the last three weeks he's producing at a legitimately historic level. Baldwin has caught eight touchdowns in his last three games, a feat that's been surpassed only one time in history of the NFL (9 by Art Powell, 1963). For more context, the only other receivers with eight touchdown catches in a three-game span are Calvin Johnson, Drew Bennett, Cris Carter, and Jerry Rice (who did it twice). That's some Hall of Fame company. Baldwin is blowing up.
To help appreciate this fact, the folks at Strideline have offered to give away a few pairs of Doug Baldwin's custom #89 socks to a few lucky Field Gulls readers.
The Doug Baldwin #89 Strideline socks
Check these out: The Doug Baldwin #89's (DB89).
If those aren't your steezo, check out these classics, the SeaTown Navy striped.
Here's what we're gonna do:
In the comments below, describe your most memorable or favorite Seahawks moment, and for bonus points, include a photo if you have one. Mine would be the BeastQuake run back in 2011, where my friends and I jumped off the couch as Marshawn Lynch broke through the line, gradually increased our celebratory raucousness as Lynch broke tackle after implausible tackle, then capped off the deliriousness by jump-screaming in a four-way hug as the Beast grabbed his crotch and dove into the endzone.
What's yours? It can be funny (I like funny stuff), it can be tear-jerking (it gets dusty in here at times), it can boring... well, boring probably won't win, but regardless, I wanna hear about it.
We'll choose some winners on Wednesday. For all those non-winners, you can always head over to Strideline and cop yourself or someone in your family a pair or two before Xmas as well.
