Seahawks do the needful, beat Browns, clinch playoffs: Instant reaction podcast

New, comments
Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks were big favorites over the Cleveland Browns in Week 15, and they managed to cover the spread, winning 30-13. The Seahawks improved to 9-5 and clinch their fifth playoff berth in six seasons under Pete Carroll, thanks to some other NFC teams taking another loss this week. Seattle will likely be heading on the road in the playoffs and their first stop could be against an NFC East team that might be .500.

On 'Real in the Field Gulls: Instant Reaction' we talk about Russell Wilson being the first QB in history to post five straight games with 3+ TD and 0 INT (and the first to have a passer rating of 125 in five straight), Christine Michael's triumphant return, Doug Baldwin's historic streak, and an average performance by the offensive line that we will take whenever we can get it.
