The Seahawks have had seven players named to the 2015 NFL Pro Bowl: QB Russell Wilson, LB Bobby Wagner, DE Michael Bennett, S Earl Thomas, S Kam Chancellor, CB Richard Sherman, and KR/PR Tyler Lockett. Seven Pro Bowl players ties a franchise record for the Seahawks (1984), and it's a first-time honor for Michael Bennett and obviously rookie Tyler Lockett.
Obviously this is a great honor for all players involved, but the hope is that they'll all get to skip the actual game and play in the Super Bowl instead.
Five Seahawks players are alternates: DE Cliff Avril, WR Doug Baldwin, K Steven Hauschka, RB Marshawn Lynch, and LT Russell Okung.
Here are the full rosters (without alternates).
