Seahawks hosted a group of Draft prospects

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

The Seahawks hosted a few draft prospects on Wednesday, evidenced by a few twitter postings by the West Georgia DL Tory Slater and Cal WR Chris Harper. Among the visits were Michigan DE Frank Clark, Southern DE Arthur Miley, Lousiana-Lafayette DT Justin Hamilton, and UNLV LB Josh Shirley.

As per usual, the Seahawks rolled out the red carpet.

A lot of these guys will end up being undrafted free agents, and the Seahawks obviously want to leave an impression on them that this is the place they want to be. Davis' "trapper with his furs" comment is in reference to something Pete Carroll said last year when boasting about the Seahawks' willingness to play undrafteds, and their ability to land some of the top rookie free agents.

Here's an updated list of players that have been worked out by the Seahawks or have been to the VMAC.
