NFL Schedule release set for Tuesday

The NFL will officially release the 2015 schedule on Tuesday, at 5 PM Pacific time.

If you've missed it, we already know Seattle's opponents for next season, but this release will give us a look at how the home/road games are split up, when the division games come down the pike (typically have been late-year heavy), and we can start looking at tough stretches during next year.

At home, in addition to the normal Rams, Cardinals, and Niners games, Seattle will play host to the Bears, Lions, Browns, Steelers, and the Panthers.

On the road, in addition to the normal trips to San Francisco, Arizona, and St. Louis, the Seahawks will head to Lambeau Field to play the Packers, to Minneapolis to play the Vikings, Baltimore to face off against the Ravens, Cincy to play the Bengals, and Dallas to play the Cowboys.

The Seahawks' preseason schedule has also been set (save for actual dates), and once again, Seattle will face off against former AFC West opponents. This is the first time in a while, though, that all four games are against the Seahawks' former division rivals:

Week 1: vs Denver Broncos
Week 2: at Kansas City Chiefs
Week 3: at San Diego Chargers (August 29th, nationally televised on CBS)
Week 4: vs Oakland Raiders

So, keep in mind that the de facto "dress rehearsal" game comes in Week 3 on national television, at San Diego.
