Seahawks preseason schedule: Seattle to face off against old AFC West foes

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

The Seahawks' preseason schedule has been set (save for actual dates), and once again, Seattle will face off against former AFC West opponents. This is the first time in a while, though, that all four games are against the Seahawks' former division rivals:

Week 1: vs Denver Broncos
Week 2: at Kansas City Chiefs
Week 3: at San Diego Chargers (August 29th, nationally televised on CBS)
Week 4: vs Oakland Raiders

So, keep in mind that the de facto "dress rehearsal" game comes in Week 3 on national television, at San Diego. That should be pretty fun.

As for the Seahawks' regular season schedule, dates have not yet been announced, but we know Seattle's opponents for next season.

At home, in addition to the normal Rams, Cardinals, and Niners games, Seattle will play host to the Bears, Lions, Browns, Steelers, and the Panthers.

On the road, in addition to the normal trips to San Francisco, Arizona, and St. Louis, the Seahawks will head to Lambeau Field to play the Packers, to Minneapolis to play the Vikings, Baltimore to face off against the Ravens, Cincy to play the Bengals, and Dallas to play the Cowboys.
