Seahawks receiver Chris Matthews suffered a shoulder injury in the Preseason Week 1's matchup with the Broncos, leaving the game for good with 3:53 in the 2nd Quarter.
Pete Carroll said after the game that Matthews has an AC sprain in his shoulder, and the preliminary diagnosis, while it's still early, is ten days to two weeks of missed time.
Matthews was gunning on a punt, and when the Broncos' returner Soloman Patton bobbled the ball and dropped it, Matthews injured his shoulder as he dove for the ball, colliding with Patton.
Backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson was also injured in the game when he was sacked, and a defender rolled up onto his ankle. Carroll didn't give much detail into Jackson's injury, but said the initial guess would be he'll miss two weeks.
Mohammed Seisay left with a groin injury. Pete Carroll said it's a slight injury.
