Seahawks defensive tackle Jesse Williams has been activated from the Non-football Injury list, making him eligible to practice with the team. Williams was diagnosed with Papillary Type 2 cancer in May and and underwent surgery to remove a kidney, so his ability to bounce back this quickly is pretty amazing.

"Today was the day I pretty much kept in my mind the whole time being in the hospital: the first day back, sort of what was driving me," Williams told reporters on Thursday. "So it was a big deal to get out there today."
"It's a very, very long process. I can control my mindset and how I come out here and work. That's what I'm going to do. Come out here and do what I need to do and show the coaches."
