Seahawks vs. Raiders final score: Seattle knocks off Oakland 31-21 to end preseason play

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Oakland Raiders 31-21 in their final preseason game Thursday night, putting a bow on the 2014 preseason.

The goal for this game (and every preseason game) is to escape with minimal injuries, and Mohammed Seisay's apparent shoulder injury late in the action was the only major incident that I saw. Now, I'm not going to speculate about who's going to make the team, as this could be the last time some of these players ever suit up for an NFL team, but we should know the Seahawks final cuts over the next few days.

With that being said -- onward to the quick game recap (with a special thanks to Jose Rivera @whoisjoserivera for all of his incredible gifs/videos).

Russell Wilson ... had a great stat line. 1/1 63 yards, 1 TD. Which brings us to...

Tyler Lockett ... running a beautiful go route to get behind Keith McGill for the touchdown. In four preseason games, Lockett has three touchdowns of more than 60 yards. As beautiful as this touchdown was, I'm more excited about the potential touchdown celebrations. I'd rate this celebration a 7/10, which is pretty good for a preseason game.

Frank Clark ... was absolutely dominant tonight. Again. It felt like he was in the backfield every other snap causing havoc. Greg Bell tweeted out these Frank Clark stats:

Here are a couple of his better plays:

Frank Clark with the Tackle For Loss.

Frank Clark with the sack/strip in the endzone.

I'd guess you'll never see a d-lineman hustle more than when trying to recover a fumble for a touchdown. This is especially true for Jordan Hill.

Cassius Marsh ... was impressive again tonight. If Frank Clark wasn't doing what he was doing we'd be talking more about Marsh.

TY McGill ... had a really nice stretch in the 2nd half getting a lot of pressure.

Kasen Williams ... had a nice TD in the corner of the endzone (with a nice pass by BJ Daniels). I thought I was happy for him, then I saw Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse celebrate.

Mohammed Seisay ... was slow to get up multiple times. As @30AcreFortress pointed out, if you're not going to make the team, try to be placed on IR.

Chris Matthews ... was back on the field after suffering an injury in the first preseason game. He didn't record a catch.

BJ Daniels ... finished 6/14 for 45 yards and a touchdown, he also had 75 rushing yards on 7 attempts. BJ also did his best Russell Wilson impersonation.

Thomas Rawls ... finished with 87 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown. He looked elusive and decisive with his runs.

What's next ... The Seahawks have to cut 22 guys to get down to their 53 man roster by Saturday at 1pm. They open their season in 10 days at St Louis in a 10 am kickoff.
